sims 3 stuff bc i hate ea

the sims 3 is like 19 usd i think and i refuse to support ea and maxis... this site has both a torrent and direct download repackaged from anadius, it also includes the sims 1, 2, the sims 2 stories, medieval, and castaway im pretty sure. There is a copy of the store on that site but it is in dutch i think... here you can find and download the store worlds more quickly, just make sure you know what you are getting check on the official store first. carversims on tumblr is where i got this and they also have the cosmetics from the store but i lost that link oops! mod the sims has some good game mods like the isla paradiso patch (which is neccesary to even play that world lol), and nrass has essentials. I highly reccomend overwatch and errortrap to keep lag low! this game is very old and very broken. If you use a modern computer you'll also likely need the Alder Lake patch, look that up i think it's on the sims forums or something

to install store content

for this i am using a .sims3pack as a placeholder, but this is how store worlds are also installed

First, find your computer's documents folder. Easy. Open that, and you should see a folder labeled "Electronic Arts". Open it!

inside of that folder is another folder called "The Sims 3". OPEN THAT TOO! you'll find ANOTHER folder titled "Downloads". this is the last one you need to open i promise.

place the .sims3pack file of your store world (or cc) into this one. and i LIED there's more folders.

open up "Windows (C:)" and then open "Programs (86x)".

Depending on where you downloaded your game from, the title of this folder will differ. i got mine through mr dj repacks. It will be easy to find. Open that, and then find the "Game" folder. Inside will be "Bin". Open that up too and scroll until you see this:

run "TS3LauncherW".

Under "Downloads" you will see this screen with your .sims3pack inside it. Hit "Install" and wait, and you're done! You can delete the files on your computer now, they will remain in your game. Hooray!!!
